It's time to update this sheesh!  Life has been pretty fantastic since i've last posted.  Here is the quick rundown of everything:
1. School has started and I am loving this semester.  I like all of the classes I am taking, they are all so interesting! I have officially switched to the Early Childhood Education major and will be graduating in probably 2 years-ish.  The apple doesn't fall far from the tree now does it mom?
2. Cougar Football! Of course I have gone to all of the home games, and have watched all the away games on the television. This isn't our best year but can't win 'em all I suppose.

 3. I had a birthday! Turned the double dueces (that means 22). Went out with the fam, some friends, and got to go to St. George to camp!

4. Got to attend the Saturday morning general conference session! That is where they announced the new missionary ages. It was such an amazing experience being there for that!
5. Because it has been fall, I got a new pair of boots, have been eating some awesome apples, also have been eating anything pumpkin  I can get my hands on, carved pumpkins, and got to go to some haunted houses! Successful.
6.I recently ran my first half marathon! It was much harder than I thought it'd be but I think I will do another one, but I don't think I will EVER do anything longer than a half...for sure.

7. The most recent thing that has occurred in my life is the presidential election! I got to vote for the first time and I am grateful I did because I truly supported Mitt Romney, and still do.  I do not agree with a lot of Obama's ideas, plans, and principles but it is what it is.  He is our president and I need to pray for him. AMERICA!

until next time....

Summer is almost over! This truly breaks my heart.  Here are some things that have filled up my life since my last post:

Fourth of July! This picture does not have a whole lot to do with Independence Day other than it was taken on it.  On the Fourth of July, I went to a parade and fireworks with some friends. This is a picture of my friend Emily's little boy, Bronson. He is a cute little stinker. Before the parade they had a life flight helicopter on the ground for the kids to see.  He is waiving good-bye to the helicopter in this picture.

There is a summer concert series in Salt Lake City every Thursday night.  I don't know very many of the bands but this is a picture of me and my friends, Londyn and Abby, from one of the concerts.

I got to hike up to the Timpanogas Caves for the first time.  Sadly, I did not get to go inside the actual cave though. You actually have to purchase a ticket to be able to go inside the cave.  The park ranger said that the tickets sell out super fast in the summer.  She was also telling the reasons why they sell tickets and only allow a certain amount of people in the cave.  The more people they allow in the, the higher the temperature rises.  There are certain species of plants and animals that only live in those caves, in that climate, and that temperature that would be killed if the temperature were to rise significantly. She also said that the study of caves is fairly new to scientists so that right now the best possible solution they have to keep the temperature constant is to control the amount of people going into the cave. So interesting!

As of recently, I have just been working and just finished my summer class.  My brothers have moved out to Utah which I am very excited about! Also, my mom will be coming to visit Utah this week and my friend Amie and her kids are as well!

Coming up is FALL! I just love the fall time. Here are some reasons why:

1. Cool and Crisp Weather 2. Leaves change color 3. My Birthday! 4. Football 5. Halloween 6. Boots 7. General Conference 8. Pumpkin flavored food 9. Fall Activities (hay-rides, pumpkin patch, corn mazes, carving pumpkins, haunted houses, etc.) 10. Delicious Apples

Ragnar 2012

So, I ran Ragnar again this year! I told myself I was not going to run it again but, I did. For those who do not know what Ragnar is, it is a huge race starting on a Friday and you run almost 200 miles (which goes into most of Saturday). One member from your team of 12 is always running and you run all day, night, and day again.  Our Ragnar started in Logan, UT and finished in Park City, UT.  This year was really fun! I ran much harder legs than last year and I surprisingly did so much better! I ran a much faster pace than last year.  I ran it with the same people as last year.  I ran a total of 14.6 miles and passed (or as you call it in  at Ragnar "killed") 44 people. Here are some pictures :)
